Rescue Poem

At the pool of Bethesda,
Waiting for a rescuer,
Who would rescue my pain?
At the pool of Bethesda,
I longed for a deliverer,
Who would deliver my scars?

And give me a star,
And so, he came,
In a sparkling robe,
With is majestic grandeur,
In a meekly guise,
Like a flash in a wave,
I was out of the miry clay.
